    Description

Crafted in Egypt, this older 3" museum reproduction features a cast (clay?) scarab with hieroglyphic etchings, patina finish.  There is a hint of bronze accents on edges.
The scarab is the most popular good luck charm from ancient Egypt. A symbol of rebirth, transformation and self-creation, the scarab is actually a dung beetle that the ancients believed pushed the sun across the sky each day.
CONDITION:  previously owned older reproduction, some rubbing on finish....please scroll through all photos.
