    VINTAGE BRASS SCARAB PAPERWEIGHT BOX
    Wonderful heavy brass Egyptian design scarab paperweight box measuring 3" long and 1-1/2" deep. Featuring a hinged dome shape lid, underside is covered with Egyptian hieroglyphics - detail of the scarab is very nice.
    Condition is lovely with no damage and just a hint of usage wear - hinge operates correctly, interior is without damage other than a bit of dried silver polish on the box edge as shown - exterior is without patination issues. Very substantial piece - designed as a paperweight with added bonus of a box. I've had it since the 1960s, so know it dates prior to that era - fun addition to any collection or display!
