Treasures of Tutankhamun at The Metropolitan Museum of Art
” from 1976-79. The 16 page black and white program/brochure is a great in-depth history of the discovery and excavation of the tomb and its contents, with diagrams, and many, many pictures. 1978.
The Sunday News Magazine of the Daily News of New York with its cover and 10 page color special feature “
A TUT TREASURY
” on the Met exhibition (only those pages are included with the cover) 1978.
National Geographic Magazine, June 2005.
The New Face of KING TUT His Life and Death
, a cover and 20 page feature in color with fold-out pages.
All three pieces are in excellent condition. The Met program is printed on newsprint and has overall tanning. The Sunday Magazine has tanning, is folded, and the back cover has a 2” tear on the fold. Only the 10 pages on the King Tut article are included along with the cover. The National Geographic is in great shape.
The program and magazine are rare, and are fascinating to peruse and read. The
National Geographic is a great, informative, modern update on the boy king.
