    Description

    This is a small, Egyptian Pharaoh sarcophagus charm, complete with tiny mummy inside!.  The sarcophagus is a gold metal, hinged at the head end and there is a pin at the feet end, to secure the lid.  The metal might be brass, but I am not sure. There are hieroglyphics on both the front and back of the sarcophagus.
    Inside is a silver-colored metal that is the mummy.  There is slight wear to all of the metal surfaces, but all are intact and in good condition.  There is a charm attachment loop at the head end of the sarcophagus, which measures 1-1/8" long x 5/16" wide x 1/4" deep.  The mummy is 7/8" long x 1/4" wide x 1/8" deep.  I think this item is from somewhere between the 1920-50's.  It is unbranded.  "Carvings" on the exterior of the sarcophagus are filled in with white and purple enamel.
