Queen Nefertari  is without a doubt the highest ranking royal lady in Egypt during the first 20 years of the reign of Ramesses II, and his most beloved wife.  She is believed to have died sometime during the Regnal Year 25 of Ramesses' reign. Painting indicating offers gifts to the goddess Isis on her coronation.  Isis is a very complex goddess who evolved to become a goddess of Joy, and so she was deeply loved by the general population, and truly revered by women, who aspired to embody her multifaceted role as wife, mother, and lover.
