Makita has a legacy of innovation in the cordless impact driver category, and the 18V LXT Brushless 4-Speed Impact Driver (XDT19) sets new standards. The Makita XDT19 offers 4-speed power selections (0-1,100/ 0-2,100/ 0-3,200/ 0-3,600 RPM & 0-1,100/ 0-2,600/ 0-3,600/ 0-3,800 IPM) which provides precise fastening control for a wide range of applications.
The Impact Driver features Assist Mode (A-mode) which helps eliminate "screw cam-out" and "cross threading" by driving at low speed until tightening begins. It also features two Tightening Modes (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws in thick or thin gauge metal that helps prevent damage to the screw or workpiece. The XDT19 delivers industry-leading performance in a compact and ergonomic design.
Added features include the one-touch 4-speed power selector button under the chuck, which enables one-handed speed changes, and reverse rotation auto-stop mode which stops rotation and impact when the fastener is loosened adequately to help prevent over-loosening and dropped fasteners.
It's part of Makita's expanding 18V LXT system, the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion batteries. Makita 18V LXT batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is a communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.

This Makita 4-speed cordless impact driver features Quick-Shift Mode that uses the brushless motor's electronic controls to help maximize the balance of speed and torque for each application. The best part about Quick-Shift Mode is that with a capacity of up to 3,600 RPM and 1,590 in. lbs of max torque, this Makita cordless impact driver has the wide range of torque to adjust to your use.
4 Additional Speeds/Modes for Fastening/Loosening
This Makita cordless impact driver includes 4 different one-touch speed/mode settings to maximize control depending on the application. Wood mode that starts slow and finishes at set maximum speed. Bolt mode that automatically stops once full loosened. Tighten Mode 1 (T-Mode 1) that prevents over-tightening on thin metal. Tighten Mode 2 (T-Mode 2) that prevents over-tightening on thick metal.
Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Battery
The Makita 18V LXT battery delivers constant power and longer run time, even in extreme temperatures. The charger communicates with the battery's built-in chip to optimize battery life, controlling current, voltage, and temperature. A built-in fan circulates air through the battery during the charging process to cool the battery for faster charge time.

Returns

When you put in a return request, Tools Plus will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization. Items past the 30-Day return window that have defects due to faulty materials or workmanship and are within the manufacturer’s warranty coverage (please see your owner’s manual for specifics) can be sent to the manufacturer’s service center directly.
You will receive a full refund of the purchase amount after we receive the item back at our warehouse and the return has been processed, provided that the item has not been used, opened, repackaged, missing pieces or defaced. If the item does not return to us in its original condition we shipped it in, you may subject to a partial refund instead of a full refund.
